Woolooware Bay

In his capacity as Founder, Managing Director and Shareholder, of Capital Bluestone, Ben Fairfax established the vision for the Woolooware Bay Town Centre project. This project involved the transformation of 10 hectares of land zoned for private recreational purposes into a vibrant new town centre and master-planned community. Under Ben’s leadership, the Partnership with the Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, was to gain concept approval for up to 898 apartments, 71 room hotel, redevelopment of the existing Leagues Club, upgrades to the football stadium and a new 18,000m2 retail centre comprising a full-line supermarket, 50 specialty stores, medical and leisure centres and revitalised club facilities..

Woolooware Bay Town Centre is one of the most successful large-scale projects in the Sutherland Shire, demonstrating how good planning and governance can deliver significant benefits to the community and the local area.
