In his capacity as Founder, Managing Director and Shareholder of Capital Bluestone, Ben Fairfax led the team in the strategic acquisition of two adjoining logistics sites in the inner Southwest suburb of Padstow totalling 5.5Ha. Ben implemented a Masterplan Asset repositioning and development strategy providing the investor a substantial uplift in asset value. Developments undertaken on the site included delivery of a new national head office with assembly, manufacturing and warehousing for Gerard Lighting Group along with a Bulky Goods Showroom Pre-Leased to Amart. Negotiated and implemented Pre-Lease structures in both assets that mitigated risk profile to the investor and delivered a maximum return. Formus then assisted the investor with the divestment of the asset to a major institution for $128.5M
